Installing a Blazecut Fire Suppression System

FIRE! One of the worst nightmares for a vintage VW owner to think about, and hopefully not have to experience. Always, when in doubt replace your old, worn, crusty or questionable fuel lines or your investment could be the next victim of engine fire. Read more to find out how to avoid this gut wrenching fate by adding a BLAZECUT Fire Suppression System.

Last weekend we finally got to installing a BLAZECUT Fire Suppression System unit in Lily, our 69 camper., and man what a difference! From start to finish it took about 30-40 minutes, 40 for us because we wanted to get picture documentation of the process.  It was a bit of work getting it to bend the right way without stressing the tube, but it's a thick material so it worked out fine. A little elbow grease and the right tools is all it took really.

We love the fact that if the SHIT hits the fan as it is said, that the BLAZECUT fire suppression system will operate automatically without any needed power supplies because it detects the higher than normal temperatures and will “BLAST” into action. Simple, affordable and automatic! What more could you want for your air cooled protection?

Out of all the products, I have 2 of these. Definitely worth the investment if I would have a fire.

This is awesome. I saw it on YouTube. Can't wait. Will probably buy as a gift to the 69 Camper.
