Alastair McCoys Kombi Travels In The Land Downunder

Hey mate just on a trip from Margaret River, Western Australia to Launceston, Tasmania. Here are some shots, I traveled around 750k's (not to sure what that is in miles sorry) yesterday and made it to a town called Esperance and parked up in a beach car park. Hoping to get a few kilometers done today cheers.

The sun sets in the west as I travel at warp speed east

Nullarbor Plain and on to Adelaide.

Made my way across the Nullarbor Plain yesterday and cruised on to Adelaide. Here’s a few photos in between. Left my fuel cap at a fuel station at some stage haha!

I left Adelaide, parked up at the start of the Great Ocean Road, and now cruising along the coast.

Set off to find a wave but the conditions weren't on my side. I found some sweet Buses along the way.I am now about to drive onto the boat to sail to Tasmania where my journey will end however I plan to cruise the state to find some surf!

Was a Smooth Overnight Sail Down To Tasmania

There I travelled the east-coast and camp a few night with some friends and my brother. The bus is still there and I am back in Western Australia so the travels will continue in 6 weeks. Hope you enjoy a few snaps I took along the way. It's been a great journey and thanks for posting my pics.

Good stuff! Something I dream about doing in my '73 kombi, but haven't plucked up the courage yet. I will watch your travels with interest. Travel safe.
